'Flowers are love's truest language' . . . Park Benjamin

I began this Blog to share beautiful photos, inspirational thoughts and maybe a tidbit or two that you will want to pass onto to someone else. No one does 'pretty' better than Mother Nature .... Welcome and I hope you stop in often!

A Day in the Life of A Dreamer

My photo
PA, United States
I have always been a 'dreamer' and I think that is the most important quality a person can have in order to be creative. It allows me to view things from all sorts of angles. Whenever I would design for a wedding/special event I made myself 'think like a photographer' and in my mind's eye I wanted to be able to showcase various colors, elements & textures. At the end of 2012 I closed the doors to my Floral Studio and began pursuing new horizons. Flowers and plants have been a part of my life since I was a child and helped my Dad in the garden. Seeds have always fascinated me and one day I will share my 'Lesson Of the Bean' story with you! My other passion is creating beautiful food to share with family and friends -- I have always said that food and flowers go together. For now, I would like this Blog to be a collection of Pretty things that this Dreamer would like to share with all of you!

After the Valentine's Day Event

'The Magic of Love & A Cure For Cancer' Fundraising Event may be over but the memories of the day linger on.  So many of you to thank . . our supporters who came out and purchased roses & cookies, Chris Frey, Owner of Allentown Floral Company, who found some 'Magic' Roses that were still available during this very busy time in the Floral Industry, the media especially Blue Ridge Cable TV 13 who came to visit Best Buds on 2/8  and again on 2/11 to interview and record the Day's Events, Diane O'Donnell, Chairperson of the Carbon Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society Relay FOR Life, who energized all of us,  Erica Heery, Cake Artist & Owner of La Mia Torta Custom Cake Studio, who created those YUMMO heart shaped butter cookies that would have made Martha Stewart green with envy & my family who shared me with all of you so I could help make Valentine's Day 2011 stand for more than the commercial holiday many make it out to be.  I would like to dedicate this first 'Magic of Love & A Cure For Cancer' Fundraiser to all of our family and friends whose lives have been 'touched' by Cancer & to the memory of our good friend, Ron Spagnoletti, who lost his battle with Lung Cancer in January -- your golfing buddies miss you!
